However, with Eclipse Java EE, the port binding is removed the moment you except your program –CodyBugstein Jun 24 '14 at 3:59 add a comment| 10 Answers 10 active oldest votes up vote 32 down vote accepted Address already in use: JVM_Bind means that some other application is already listening on the port your current application is trying to bind. what you need to do is, either the port for your current application or better; just find out the already running application and kill it. on linux you can find the application pid by using, netstat -tulpn share|improve this answer answered May 5 '10 at 11:34 phoenix24 1,3051123 3 How do you find that in WIndows, I am running my application on Windows –gmhk May 5 '10 at 11:47 6 netstat works on windows too, on console try: netstat -an for more, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netstat –phoenix24 May 5 '10 at 12:02 1 another advice would be not

I am going into IIS, right click on sites and Add new Site, when I put everything in it has a address already default of 80 for the port, if I use that it gives me an error that port 80 is already in use, by my other website, if I use that then I get an error that port 80 is already in use. So, I randomly choose port 81 and no error, but the website doesn't resolve. Do I need to use port 80 in a different manner or is there something else I need to do to resolve address already in the address? I have never put a domain on a server, the one that is currently there was already there... And then, do you have host headers configured for the first website? Because if no, that's why you can't have two websites without host headers running on the TCP 80 port.
