After that I am unabel to run any of the asp.net 2.0 application from IIS(I am able to run asp.net 1.1 application). The error I am getting is as below. Server Application Unavailable The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the http://forums.iis.net/t/1154617.aspx?App+Domain+could+not+be+created "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request. Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur. In system event log:Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0Event Category: NoneEvent ID: 1088Date: 26/01/2009Time: 11:43:20User: N/A Computer: srv-srv-01 Description: Failed to execute request because the App-Domain could not be created. Error: 0x80070005 Access is denied. I have tried giving the IIS_WPG access to all the required folders. But no use. This server is in AD and the security policy is controlled by group policy. You need to use a tool such as Process Monitor to track down the source of this resource denial.
