For all those users who cannot get to the site, we have asked them to run a traceroute. IN EVERY. SINGLE. CASE. that has replied to us with results. Their traceroute request gets stopped dead in its tracks atc-76-18-194-16.hsd1.fl.comcast.net (76.18.194.16). Immediately before this final entry, we see these traceroutes hop to te-6-1-acr02.mandarin.fl.jacksvil.comcast.net successfully and then are stopped at the 76.18.194.16.As I mentioned, this is ONLY for a very small handful of users. Is there anything I can do to debug this further or anything I can do in DNS to avoid this node? Any help at all will be tremendously appreciated.Jay L Stevens Everyone's Tags (3): bad-nodehttptraceroute 0 Kudos Reply All Forum Topics Previous Topic Next Topic 8 REPLIES VBSSP-RICH Trusted Forum Contributor Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Highlight Accept as Solution Print Email to a Friend Report Inappropriate Content 08-24-2015 02:28 PM 08-24-2015 02:28 PM Re: Some Incoming HTTP traffic gets stopped at Comcast Node and never makes it to our site Hello MandarinCreative and welcome, Well, I too am getting an HTTP 440 error when trying to access your website for unknown reas

Are You the Webmaster? See the Fixing 504 Errors on Your Own Site section further down the page for some things to consider on your end.How You Might See the 504 ErrorIndividual websites are allowed to customize how they show "gateway timeout" errors, but here are the most common ways you'll see one spelled out:"504 Gateway Timeout""HTTP 504""504 ERROR""Gateway Timeout (504)""HTTP 400 bad request Error 504 - Gateway Timeout""Gateway Timeout Error"A 504 Gateway Timeout error shows up inside the Internet browser window, just like normal web pages do. There might a site's familiar headers and footers and a nice, English message on the page, or it could show up on an all-white page with a big 504 at the top. It's all the same message, regardless of how the website happens to show it.Also, please know that 504 Gateway Timeout errors can appear in any Internet browser, in any operating system, and on any device. A 400 error is a standard email code that indicates a mail message has been deferred and that the sending server should try again later. This may happen due to a server error, special spam filtering deferrals, or a temporary error. May I know the email service provider that you are using please? Are you using Google, Yahoo or a different provider? Posted 2/10/2014 Customer Thank you. Comcast X-finity is my e-mail server. Posted 2/10/2014 Abe Pastor Technician Thank you for replying. The 400 Bad Request error is an HTTP status code that means that the request you sent to the website server (e.g. a request to load a web page) was somehow malformed therefore the server was unable to understand or process the request. I have done some research regarding this matter and found that some Comcast users are reportedly experiencing comcast.net email errors during sign in. Error Code 400 on comcast.net’s email are being displayed during sign in;. The error, apparently code 400, is manifesting itself during sign in to Comcast’s comcast.net email services. Try a different web browser, to check if you get the same error. Make sure the password is correct when logging in to the site.
