In order to do so, press MENU on your remote control, select System setup and then Factory reset. Once you confirm the operation, all user settings will be reset to defaults and the receiver will then reboot. Some channels I am subscribed to show as unsubscribedIf you are missing channels that you are subscribed to, you may need to to resynchronize bell satellite your programming. You may do this either on the MyBell self-serve website or by calling Bell at 1-888-759-3474.I am getting no signal on most of my standard definition channels or most of my high definition channelsThis issue could be caused if you are not receiving adequate signal from both of Bell's 82 (HD & International channels) and 91 (SD channels) satellites. In order to verify this, use your remote and press MENU, 6, 1, 1. Here, you may monitor signal levels for bell satellite signal both 82 and 91 satellite transponders. In order to ensure reliable service, both 82 and 91 satellites should have a signal level of 75% or higherA large difference in signal levels between 82 or 91 would indicate an alignment or potential signal obstruction issue. However, if one of the two satellites have no signal level at all, you may have an issue with your SW-21 switch or the LNBF itself. In order to confirm this, select the Check Switch option on this screen and then Test in order to verify that your switch is functioning properly.I am getting Error 015: Please standby for the satellite signalThis message means that your satellite receiver is not receiving signal from your dish outside. You should first try to resolve this issue by doing a soft reset of your receiver by holding down the power button for 5 seconds which will reboot the receiver. If this does not resolve the issue then you should verify that the satellite coaxial cables in the back of your receiver are securely fastened. This error may also appear temporarily during inclement weather conditions either in your area or at Bell's uplink center in Scarborough, ONIf you tried all of the above without success then the issue most likely lies outside at your dish and you may need to contact a satellite technician in order to verify your satellite dish's alignment and coaxial cable connections. « Last

I can get Sat 91 on all transponders with signal strength all above 80% and I can only get Sat 82 on transponder 15 and 16, the signal is above 90 on both of those. When I change from an SD channel to an HD channel, it loses the signal, goes to Attention 015, searching for satellite signal, then goes to error 002, service is temporarily unavailable. I can then usually switch back to the SD channel. Sometimes it loses the 91 satellite as well and I need to do a reset again before I can watch any SD channels. I had other issues before and both LNB's are replaced and the SW21 is replaced as well. When I do a check switch it comes up with everything connected. If I do a check switch when it has lost both satellites after I change to an HD channel, or look at Sat 82 in the signal strength screen, it comes up with fewer satellites than before, but if I reset and do it again, all is fine. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks. 12/30/2014, 5:45 am Share Link to this post Send Email to dmhuber Send PM to dmhuber Blog tooeasy Profile Live feed Blog Friends Miscellaneous info Registered user Global user Registered: 07-2005 Posts: 911 Karma: 10 (+10/-0) Reply|Quote Re: Bell Satellite Problem Bad tone board in the receiver or a rusted connection in your line. 12/30/2014, 8:33 am Share Link to this post Send Email to tooeasy Send PM to tooeasy lonnie Profile Live feed Blog Friends Miscellaneous info Registered user Global user Registered: 01-2005 Posts: 1750 Karma: 9 (+10/-1) Reply|Quote Re: Bell Satellite Problem Older receivers are not capable of decoding the type of hd signals on the 82 satellite. That's why you only see signal on transponders 15 and 16 on the 82 satellite, those 2 transponders are SD only. You may have to upgrade to a new receiver. 12/30/2014, 9:20 am Share Link to this post Send Email to lonnie Send PM to lonnie dmhuber Profile L
