Accpac refers to Pervasive http://cs.pervasive.com/forums/t/7288.aspx to look for the error correction, but i could not come accross any page treating this issue. Can anyone advise to help resolve this problem? 05-31-2004 2:11 PM In reply to info@mirtheil.com Joined on 12-01-2001 Posts 2,786 Re: cannot access database(error=40962) Reply Contact The 40962 is an Accpacc interpretation of a Pervasive error. You need to ask Accpac what Pervasive error code the 40962 maps to. Page 1 of 1 (2 items) 800.287.4383 | Privacy Policy | Terms & Conditions © 2013 Actian Corporation. All Rights Reserved.

Cancel Jay Converse Arxis 27 Jan 2009 6:07 AM That's what recreate from scratch means, doesn't it? On the server after they're all deleted, cannot access database recreate them from the Pervasive control center. Cancel jdshali 27 Jan 2009 7:11 AM Thanks. None of the DSNs can be deleted. the setup routines for the pervasive ODBC engine interface ODBC driver could not be found. What could be the problem here. Cancel jdshali 27 Jan 2009 7:51 AM pervasive is installed. My path is C:\PVSW\bin. actually I suspect this problem has started after changing IP adress to be obtained automatically! pls provide me with your chat (if dont mind). Cancel Jay Converse Arxis 27 Jan 2009 8:59 AM Sorry, I don't do chats.I think you've solved it. You server needs to have a static IP, and its name needs to be in your DNS list. Your IT department screwed up. You may have luck using a HOSTS file to set the address to the server.
