Not quite shore where the conflict is exactly and how to get rid of it. Any help would be appricated, thanks Debian 4.0, apache2, php5, dual-core amd. if you need any other information please ask.. thx -sean 4 Nov 2007,02:41 PM #2 DrByte View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries Visit Homepage View Articles Sensei Join Date Jan 2004 Posts 63,528 Blog Entries5Plugin Contributions184 Re: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class soapclient "cannot redeclare class" means that somewhere in your program code that class is being loaded twice. You'll have to hunt down where it's loaded and stop it from loading a second time. Perhaps you have duplicate or backup copies of files that are getting automatically loaded ? http://tutorials.zen-cart.com/index.php?article=38 http://tutorials.zen-cart.com/index.php?article=39 . Author Posts April 27, 2008 at 12:49 am #22807 masscraftParticipant From time to time, my site becomes inaccessible with the message below displaying: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class soapclient in /home/diamond9/public_html/includes/classes/nusoap.php on line 7239 If I wait long enough, it clears up but my site is completely gone http://www.loadedcommerce.com/community/forums/topic/fatal-error-cannot-redeclare-class-soapclient/ in the interim. Any thoughts re: what's up and how to fix? April 27, 2008 at 1:28 am #103976 masscraftParticipant From what I've found, this has to do with using nuSoap with PHP5. PHP5 has nuSoap built in and having the separate file causes problems. When I change all instances of "soapclient" to "soapclientw" in includes/classes/nusoap.php and includes/modules/addons/buysafe.php, the site comes back up but I get the following message at the top: Error buySAFE fault: Credentials specified for BuySafeUser are invalid. How can I rectify this or is there a better way to handle the nuSoap conflict with PHP5? Thanks. April 28, 2008 at 10:07 pm #103977 masscraftParticipant The fix to the original "Fatal Error…" is correct. I was getting the BuySafe error because I have not been approved as a vendor by them. Turned BuySafe off…all is well. July 28, 2008 at 9:34 pm #103978 corradomattParticipant I am having the same problem with my buysafe account. I installed the buysafe module perfectly….then I uninstalled it and when I tried to reinstall the module, I'm now getting the exact same error! Help!! when you use PHP5 with SOAP compiled in, importing NuSOAP will fail. You can work around this by going into nusoap.php and finding the class definition: class soapclient extends nusoap_base { ...and its constructor: function soapclient($endpoint, ... ...and changing both these mentions of soapclient into soapclient2 or some other name that doesn't collide. Of course, the actual use of the class will have to use this new name too.
