That error means you outputted something to the browser before line 40 and then tried to use a header value that can't be sent because of course the header had already been sent before line 40. I'm not a programmer or a coder but I just want to fix some troubles with my project. Here is the context. I need to install and use one of my project (eCommerce website) offline on my notebook (HP - Windows7). So I have already installed Appserv and import the databases. I also copy paste all the files in the www/name of the project folders. The website is in PHP and Javascript. No CMS and the CSS templates have been designed internally. I started the website offline using localhost and I opened the admin log in page. I entered my Log in and password and I got the following message: *" Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at C:\AppServ\www\thailema_v2\controller\admin\login.php:1) in C:\AppServ\www\thailema_v2\controller\admin\login.php on line 3 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\AppServ\www\thailema_v2\controller\admin\login.php:1) in C:\AppServ\www\thailema_v2\controller\admin\login.php on line 18 "* So I couldn't reach my admin page and relaunch offline the functions I need. All the supporting libraries were just pulled and uploaded in the root folder. The PHP library automatically starts a simple session manager for you, so it's running session_start for you. Solution: Get rid of any output before the call to Podio::set() All the best, Andreas Andreas Haugstrup Pedersen February 15, 2013 17:24 0 votes Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google+ 0 I am hitting this same wall as well and am not clear on your answer; do you mean that the podio API must be called before PHP outputs anything to the browser, or before anything at all including HTML outside PHP tags? I don't see anything in the example code the OP provided besides two includes and the instantiation of the API, nothing is output to the browser before the API session call. If you are using sessions (and by default podio-php is using sessions to store the auth tokens for you), you cannot have any output before the session is started. In the case of podio-php you cannot have any output (HTML, w
