some opportunity to have some knowledge from the net on how to solve this problem but the solution is not yet succeeded. Anyone opinion is very much appreciated...For additional information, when i deleted the .bmp files in the directory specified in the error line number, the program is error-free and working... I wondering if there are some other solution to make it working even without deleting the .bmp files...See attached files... other servers here. They use ASP with FoxPro 8--specifically, afoxpro 8 program that is referenced by a DLL called in an ASP page. Onthe other servers, it works all right, but on http://microsoft.public.fox.vfp.language-menus.narkive.com/zPUInA4y/catastrophic-failure-8000ffff-in-foxpro-8 the oen I'm setting up,we can't get the foxpro part to work. If I go into VFP8 and do:oFoxVar = CreateObject('FoxWebSvr.FoxServer')I get no errors. If I type :? ofoxvar.SESSIONIDThen I get the Intellisense drop down for it and all, but when I hitenter, I get "OLE error code 0x8000ffff: Catastrophic failure". I'vechecked the FoxWebSvr object in DCOM under component services; It looksto have catastrophic failure access all around. I haven't changed the code from the otherservers, so it must be a configuration somethingorother. It's WS2003SP1 with all the updates. Any help appreciated.Kelly Lee Mitchell 2006-11-17 22:02:26 UTC PermalinkRaw Message Hi Kelly:Since this is running on Windows Server 2003, I would look at disablingdata execution protection, DEP as a first step.
