We have it set up so that certain apps are installed to a server, and when a user wants to use a particular app they call a shell script which in turn calls the actual program executable on the server and the program then runs on their local machine. I'm creating a new image of CentOS 5, and for some reason most of the apps can't find one of the two libraries mentioned before. I've tried configuring and installing things to make the libraries available, but ended up crashing the sytem twice necessitating reformats each time. I installed openmotif through yum, which I thought would install libXm.so.3 on my machine, but it didn't. Does anybody know why libXm.so.3 isn't installed when i install openmotif?
