Cox Webmail Certificate Error
28 Replies | 7 Subscribers This question is still unresolved Posted by Noisy DVR 11 May 2015 12:40 PM Get this RSS feed My email works fairly well over the weekend, but is absolutely horrible Monday through Friday. This is the message I get every few minutes: There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the https://www.infosecblog.org/2012/02/cox-secure-pop-changes/ settings for account "Cox - IMAP" or try again. The server returned the error: The connection to the server "imap.cox.net" on port 993 timed out. The settings for my email are all correct. I'm using MacMail, and it has worked perfectly until about a month ago. Since then I have had nothing but trouble. #e-mail problem Reply All Replies 0 http://forums.cox.com/forum_home/internet_forum/f/5/t/9434.aspx Kudos Posted by TiffanyR 12 May 2015 9:01 AM I know email issues can be frustrating. Reply 0 Kudos Posted by ColleenD 14 May 2015 5:13 PM cybermac144, There is currently an outage with the west coast servers that was identified yesterday. From what I've been told the outage affects the west coast webmail access and customers using IMAP. POP users are not impacted at this time. Mail and Network administrators are currently working to troubleshoot the issue. Customers may use the URL http://webmail.east.cox.net in the meantime
