When he tried to open it in IE9 (we're avoiding 10 & 11 for the time being because of legacy support issues), it gives a godaddy certificate error, i.e., "There is a problem with this website's security certificate". When I try to click on the link for "Continue to this website (not recommended", it won't load anything. I looked at the clock and thought A-HAH! It was off by an hour, since it hadn't updated to take account of DST, but even after changing that it still didn't work. I tried to open the URL in the latest version of Chrome, and that wouldn't work either. He has Firefox installed on the laptop as well, and this did load the site properly. Yes, I know the simple answer would be to use Firefox for this, but there are other users in our organization who are experiencing the same issue, and I don't want to have to deploy another browser merely to circumvent an issue which should be solvable. This isn't a server-side issues, since other clients can hit OWA without a problem. I've used SSL Checker to check out the certificate, and all's well (as I'd expected). It's a 2048-bit key, so there aren't any problems with the Windows update that forced usage of a 1024-bit key minimum. Options such as changing the publisher's and server certific

Therefore your SSL certificate must be installed on IIS. Install your SSL certificate for your version of IIS and your type of SSL certificate (EV or non-EV). A list of IIS servers can be found here. Step 2: Configure Exchange Virtual Directory for SSL Expand the Exchange web site within IIS and select the Exchange sub directory, right-click and select outlook web app Properties. Select the Directory Security tab. In the Secure Communications section, click Edit. In the Secure Communications dialog box, check the Require secure channel (SSL) checkbox. This will force clients to connect to the Exchange OWA via an https secure channel. Verify Installation To verify if your certificate is installed correctly, use our Certificate Installation Checker. Test your SSL certificate by using a browser to connect to your server. Use the https protocol directive. For example, if your SSL was issued to secure.mysite.com, enter https://secure.mysite.com into your browser. Your browser's padlock icon will be displayed in the locked position if your certificate is installed correctly and the server is properly configured for SSL. For IIS SSL troubleshooting, Microsoft has designed a tool - SSL Diagnostics - to aid in quickly identifying configuration problems in the IIS metabase, certificates, or certificate stores.
