related issue might cause you to lose information in the file you're working on, cause errors in the file (corrupt the file) so you can't work with it, or prevent you from using a feature. Unlike other errors, problems don't typically cause Windows or a program to stop working. So this can occur if you are running two software programs that aren't compatible, if your computer has memory problems, or if the computer has been infected with malicious software. http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=73652 If keeps occurring, follow these steps: 1. Install the latest updates for Windows and for the program displaying . Note that the update for the program might be listed as an optional update on the Windows Update page. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then, http://cg.runtime.error.the.parameter.used.is.invalid.wintechpro.org/ in the list of results, click Windows Update. For more information about Windows Update, see Install Windows updates in Windows 7. 2. Check Action Center for a solution to the program displaying the used error. When you have Windows Error Reporting turned on and a program stops working, a problem report is typically sent to Microsoft for more analysis. If a solution is available, or there are steps you can take to minimize the likelihood of the problem recurring, they'll be available in Action Center. Open Action Center by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under System and Security, clicking Review your computer's status. 3. Same problem cg error the for all Cg versions so far. I found that this was brought up on other forums (gamedev, etc.) too, but no solution was found. I even asked nvidia, but didn't get a reply yet. So has anyone the same problem and/or found a solution for this? Thanks! 07-15-2006,03:06 PM #2 PfhorSlayer View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message Intern Newbie Join Date Apr 2003 Posts 42 Re: Problems with Cg I have the exact same issue (I was the one that brought it up over at gamedev). Eight THOUSAND API calls per frame! Most of which are completely pointless! My opinion is that they build the libs with the debugging stuff turned on (to make sure everything is what it should be at run time), and released them that way. However, I would think that they'd make sure that wasn't the case, as people trying to choose between Cg and something else would be hard pressed to choose Cg if it made their application slow to a crawl. I too emailed Nvidia and never got a response back. Maybe someone who works there will read this... 07-17-2006,07:56 AM #3 cass View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message Visit Homepage Advanced Member Frequent Contributor Join Date Feb 2000 Location Austin, TX, USA Posts 913 Re: Problems w
