I'm using the Cisco VPN client (have tried both 4.9.0.1-0080 and 4.9.0.1-0100). I am able to connect successfully using Windows XP both from my desktop PC and a Parallels install on the Macbook Pro. I have confirmed with another Mac user that they can still successfully connect.(server name removed from log)-------------------------------------------------------------------Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 4.9.01 (0100)Copyright (C) 1998-2006 Cisco Systems, Inc. I've got vpnclient-linux-4.0.5.Rel-k9 installation version from my wife company with cisco vpn profile file - administrators said, that it "should" work with 2.6.7 kernel. I emegred this vpn client using following command: Code: LDFLAGS='-Wl,-z,now' emerge -av =net-misc/cisco-vpnclient-3des-4.0.5 and everything went OK. So, after that I started vpnclient init script: Code: root@tux root # /etc/init.d/vpnclient start * Starting Cisco VPN Client... cisco vpn error [ ok ] and, as you can see, everything went also OK. I've checked modules: Code: root@tux root # lsmod Module Size Used by cisco_ipsec 395436 0 nvidia 2074952 12 via82cxxx_audio 26376 1 ac97_codec 16652 1 via82cxxx_audio - cisco_ipsec module is loaded. Then I wanted start vpnclient using following command: Code: root@tux root # vpnclient connect atena Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 4.0.5 (Rel) Copyright (C) 1998-2003 Cisco Systems, Inc.
