Did that and low and behold - just so happened to have a replacement CR2032. I have put it in and rebooted but now get "CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR - DEFAULTS LOADED" and still have to press F1 to continue the boot. If you have a USB keyboard, you're gonna have to switch over to a PS/2 type. Clearing the BIOS more than likely disabled USB keyboard support.
