HDD WD 350 GB and decided to assemble my system again. I connected the HDD, RAM and DVD drive into the mono and powered on the system with Win 7 disk in the optical drive as I had to install the OS on the new drive. The installation went on smoothly till the time the machine restarts for the first time after loading, extracting and updating the system files. That is where I think the problem started. The machine did not restarted the way it was supposed to be. It didn't even go beyond the POST screen. When the POST started the system did all the usual things till searching for the attached peripherals on the machine. After that it gave a error message as below: CMOS Checksum error. Warning! Machine is now in safe mode. Please re-setting the CMOS setup in BIOS. Press F1 to continue, Del to enter bios setup, F8 to get startup options and F9 for boot device list. Now as per the message I tried to enter the bios but my keyboard didnt seem to respond. I tried F8 and F9 but same response. The only key that seemed to be working was F1. So I pressed F1. What happened was that the windows welcome screen flashed and message read windows is loading
