Sftp Server Error Read Connection Reset By Peer
Status: Description Summary Running 1.4b18 (but have also tried b17 and the latest full release), immediately minecraft server connection reset by peer after my upgrade to Snow Leopard, Adium constantly cycles my Jabber account -- when on corporate VPN. It -- same 1.4b18, same computer, same everything -- server recv connection reset by peer worked fine on Leopard. I did a standard upgrade, i.e., no wipe-and-reinstall. I have uninstalled completely, reinstalled, tried all three of the above versions, wiped security certificates, etc. I am far from the only person running Snow Leopard and Adium in our exact Jabber environment but obviously something has gone wrong for

The remote server has sent you a RST packet, which indicates an immediate dropping of the connection, rather than the usual handshake. This bypasses the normal half-closed state transition. I like this description: "Connection reset by peer" is the TCP/IP equivalent of slamming the phone back on the hook. It's more polite than merely not replying, leaving one hanging.
