Download the latest BIOS Update. ( It is important http://www.overclock.net/t/71166/intel-cpu-ucode-loading-error-what-to-do/20 that you download the BIOS update that matches your motherboard's model.)Download - P5PE-VM - Version 15012. Save the downloaded file on a floppy disk. 3. Boot from the boards Support Cd. Browse the floppy disk. 4. To obtain a backup of your latest Bios settings, type:afudos /0filename5. Finally to update the BIOS, type:afudos /ifilename <-- Type here the filename of the BIOS Update. It ends with a .rom http://techsupportoncall.blogspot.com/2008/04/intel-cpu-ucode-loading-error.html file.Important: The machine should not be restarted while the update is running. I set my bios to ignore it. Alll drives, memory etc..post just fine but i keep getting an error that says: "Intel CPU Ucode loading errror" This is preventing me from loading windows xp because when the computer has to restart i get this error and my only option is push F1 to continue which boots from a disk which is the windows xp disk and everything starts over. XP Pro supports true Multi-Processor setups, and XP Home supports DualCore, but only 1 CPU - AFAIK. Perhaps you need to choose F5 during Setup and define the system HAL - more here; http://www.theeldergeek.com/clean_in...windows_xp.htm Otherwise a BIOS update may help ?
