While I was setting up this machine for a Trixbox project, I've encountered

an error during the first bootup of the machine. My machine was an ASUS P5PE-VM motherboard,socket 775 with a Core 2 asus p5ld2-tvm se/s Duo processor and 2 Gigs of memory.Intel CPU uCode loading errorPress F1 to resume...Solution:UPDATE BIOS.Go get the latest BIOS update from support.asus.com. 1. Download the latest BIOS Update. ( It is important that you download http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/250815-28-intel-ucode-loading-error the BIOS update that matches your motherboard's model.)Download - P5PE-VM - Version 15012. Save the downloaded file on a floppy disk. 3. Boot from the boards Support Cd. Browse the floppy disk. 4. To obtain a backup of your latest Bios settings, type:afudos /0filename5. Finally to update the BIOS, type:afudos /ifilename <-- Type here the filename of the BIOS Update. I did reset the settings from the bios. Its the latest version already. It's an old board and is not getting any more updates.The board is an Asus P5L 1394. The cpu is a Core 2 Duo Extreme X6800. Previously had an E6600. Replaced with X6800 because thats the best one supported by the motherboard.Edit:Oh i think i figured out why it's showing that error. The cpu i got (from ebay) is actually an Engineering sample (It was not advertised as such). And i read that they were removed from supported cpu's list and now bios doesn't recognize it. I read that it's actually illegal to sell those but it's probably ok now since they are super old, cheap and not a secret anymore.I just wish there was a way to stop
