While installing, at about 50%, it gave me an error saying that the Fallout - Textures.bsa file is not the same file listed in the setup's .cab file. It gives me the option to Abort, retry, or Ignore. The first time I aborted and tried reinstalling, and it did the same thing. So the then I ignored it and the rest of the install went fine. Then when I got to start the game, it stucks on the first screen that reads 'Please Stand by'. Please help. I have tried searching on Google and have seen some people having the same problem. But couldn't find the solution. I had ordered this online as its not available in my country. So i don't want that i return it. because it will cost me a lot to just ship it. Is their any alternate solution to this? If there's a way to skip that 'please stand by ' screen then i think i might be able to play it. shloeb View Public Profile Find all posts by shloeb (#2) ST19AG_WGreymon Ancient Guru Videocard: eVGA 970 SC ACX 2.0 4GB Processor: Intel Core i7 4770K@4.5 Mainboard: Asus Z97-A Memory: GSkill 16GB DDR3 2400 Soundcard: Sound Blaster Z PSU: Corsair AX760i 03-02-2009, 15:31 | posts: 4,706 | Location: Maryland, USA Is the disc physically damaged? Try it in another PC or perhaps another DVD drive. If it was then i would not have been able to cpy the contents to my hard disk. I have seen this problem with some people in Google. May be there was a lot of disks that were faulty. I may be able to solve this problem if i could skip directly to main menu. shloeb View Public Profile Find all posts by shloeb (#4) morbias Don Tommasino Videocard: - Processor: - Mainboard: - Memory: - Soundcard: - PSU: - 03-02-2009, 15:58 | posts: 13,240 | Location: UK Try installing it from your hard drive.
