GrrrRR!! so i just got a new imac and a new mbox2 pro......i previously used an old mbox 2 https://www.gearslutz.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/480666-please-help-dae-error-prostools-grrrrr.html and i used my cranesong hedd as the clock source - it ran perfectly and i never had any problems! i just finished mixing a record half on my old system and half on my new one and it worked fine - the files and sessions talked nicely to each other between the 2 systems. BUT!!! - the other night i plugged in the cranesong hedd and selected s/pdif as the clock source and it worked ok BUT there were occasional bursts of white noise which was unsettling but i ignored it as i was just recording a jam and i didn't want to break the flow by rebooting/trouble-shooting at the time. today i went in and messed around with my i/o selections trying to sort out the white noise issue and suddenly the following popped up: "UNABLE TO LOCATE DIGI HARDWARE. MAKE SURE YOUR HARDWARE IS CONNECTED AND TURNED ON" well - it is connected and turned on: i tried quitting and restarting but the same thing and in fact prostools won't even open now stating: "DAE ERROR 700"....... i searched forums and the digi help forum but no real luck - i uninstalled protools (i am running the latest 8.0.3) and re-installed.....same deal! all i found anywhere was this: "I deleted all my preferences, DAE folder, databases etc, and repaired permi

I know because that's exactly what happened to me today. I sat down at a workstation dae error that worked perfectly the day before (OK, not perfectly, but you get the point), opened up Pro Tools with my MBox 2 Pro attached, and that's when the trouble began. To rewind a bit, there's a light on the front panel of the MB2 Pro. Mine is green because I use the power supply, however, it can also be amber if it's drawing bus dae error 13001 power. Yep, that's the pesky little power light, right above the External Clock and MIDI lights. But for some reason, mine was blinking consistently on and off. I knew that if no lights were lighting, then the firmware was compromised, but I could find nothing that explained away a blinking power light. So I decided to launch into Pro Tools and see if it would just go away. Nope… I was greeted at the splash screen with an error. Not just any error, mind you, but one I had never before encountered; DAE Error 700. Being no stranger to DAE Errors, I figured my best bet (and yours, if you're ever in a similar situation), was to first head to the Digi User Conference (DUC) and do a little searching. Unfortunately, a search yielded two pages of fairly unrelated information. However, there was one helpful post that reminded me to delete all my preferences and reboot. Nothing I didn't already know, but a welcome suggestion at this point. Moving on, a search on the Digidesign Support Knowledge Base yielded 55 pages of possibilities, none of which had anything remotely to d
regression, also called a logit model, is used to model dichotomous outcome variables. In the logit model the log odds of the outcome is modeled as a linear combination of the predictor variables. Please note: The purpose of this page is to show how to use various data analysis commands. It does not cover all aspects of the research process which researchers are expected to do. In particular, it does not cover data cleaning and checking, verification of assumptions, model diagnostics and potential follow-up analyses. Examples Example 1: Suppose that we are interested in the factors that influence whether a political candidate wins an election. The outcome (response) variable is binary (0/1); win or lose. The predictor variables of interest are the amount of money spent on the campaign, the amount of time spent campaigning negatively, and whether the candidate is an incumbent. Example 2: A researcher is interested in how variables, such as GRE (Graduate Record Exam scores), GPA (grade point average) and prestige of the undergraduate institution, affect admission into graduate school. The outcome variable, admit/don't admit, is binary. Description of the data For our data analysis below, we are going to expand on Example 2 about getting into graduate school. We have generated hypothetical data, which can be obtained from our website by clicking on binary.sas7bdat. You can store this anywhere you like, but the syntax below assumes it has been stored in the directory c:\data. This data set has a binary response (outcome, dependent) variable called admit, which is equal to 1 if the individual was admitted to graduate school, and 0 otherwise. There are three predictor variables: gre, gpa, and rank. We will treat the variables gre and gpa as continuous. The variable rank takes on the values 1 through 4. Institutions with a rank of 1 have the highest prestige, while those with a rank of 4 have the lowest. We start out by looking at some descriptive statistics.
