Automatic rollback on cancellation would be desirable, no? cannot create an Alternative, maybe less desirable version would be a method like BeginWithContext(ctx) "instead of"? Remember you can also query outside of transactions. cihangir commented Apr 5, 2016 I started implementing this a while back ago with having context as the first parameter to all the api functions. Apart from SetMaxIdleConns and SetMaxOpenConns all functionality implemented. Given the fact that my implementation breaks the whole api, implementation is purely done in a third party manner (without touching to std lib code) For the ref, you can find the docs here https://godoc.org/github.com/cihangir/ctxdb I would like to help on the implementation if need. Automatic rollback on cancellation would be desirable, no? I tried to achieve this by closing the connection to the database Some of the database vendors handle it properly, but i am not sure if it is a general solution. pbnjay commented Apr 5, 2016 You can query outside of transactions, but I think combining a user-space context with the database transaction (even for a single-query transaction) is troublesome. If you run an UPDATE but your context times out, user space indicates a cancellation/error, but the database ma

I googled it come to know that when db image is malformed it deletes and db recreate it which is happening for some of the users. The problem here is out of 10 users I'm getting this error for db is recreated only for 2-3 users and I am unable to get the error in the logcat also that why it is happening. If the db is malformed for 10 users then why it is not recreating the db for all the 10 users only for those 2-3? Can somebody point me in the right direction how to handle it? Update:I am still unable to reproduce the issue but i was able to get some logs, here they are 08-28 08:35:44.847 E/SQLiteLog(15123): (11) database corruption at line 65088 of [00bb9c9ce4] 08-28 08:35:44.847 E/SQLiteLog(15123): (11) statement aborts at 67 08-28 08:35:44.857 E/DefaultDatabaseErrorHandler(15123): Corruption reported by sqlite on database: /data/data/com.grofers.retail.posmaster/databases/GrofersRetail 08-28 08:35:45.377 D/dalvikvm(15123): GC_EXPLICIT freed 2639K, 62% free 7479K/19228K, paused 4ms+8ms, total 82ms 08-28 08:35:45.727 E/DefaultDatabaseErrorHandler(15123): !@ Delete old .mark file 08-28 08:35:45.737 E/DefaultDatabaseErrorHandler(15123): !@ DB Corruption has happened before this 08-28 08:35:45.757 E/DefaultDatabaseErrorHandler(15123): !@ DB Corruption has happe
