again later. [sap-basis] Client import progress is tooslow February 11, 2008, 06:03 Filed under: Uncategorized Posted by naresh4s3 on 02/11/2008 01:07:00 AM Hi all, I am trying to perform a client copy using export/import procedure of my Prod client into my DEV client. I am trying to import the exported client using STMS. My Hardware on DEV is 4Gb Ram, 800Gb Hdd, 4 CPU processors and i using ECC5.0 with Oracle 9.2 on AIX. I try to monitor the import in /usr/sap/trans/tmp and when i check the import progress till 6Gb it went on fine as it took nearly 7 hrs to import 6gb of data after that it has taken nearly 9 hrs to import 600MB of data. I am Running the import for the second time as first time it has taken 40hrs to copy 9Gb of data. so i had to cancel the import and restart the import when i check the system log SM21, I found the following error Database error: TemSe->XRTAB(4)->64 for table TST01 key /usr/sap/SRD/SYS/global/120JOBLG/0001X002 52001X25872Database error: TemSe->XRTAB(4)->64 for table TST01 key /usr/sap/SRD/SYS/global/100JOBLG/0001X021 51301X78153 I have done a consistency check for temse using sp12 and deleted the inconistent objects. I would like to know whether any one had faced problem with client import being slow. If so can u let know what u guys have done to speed up the process and get the import successful.
