The DB2 user must have permissions to create tables, tablespaces, and modify the database configuration. You might want to verify that before you run repotools again :-) good luck Sudhir Hello, I am getting the same error when trying to create tables for RPC, using DB2 9.5. The database was created using the command : db2 create database JAZZ on c: using codeset UTF-8 territory en PAGESIZE 8192 The command was successful. When I execute a sql procedure, i get this error while executing the 'DECLARE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE' statement. Table space name is not specified in the above declaration. APAR status Closed as program error. Error description The db2 error virtual T_RPT_HOST_KEYS table is a Materialized Query Table (MQT) that the TPC server creates for use in Cognos reporting. MQT tables are created through a series of select statements against other database tables. The refresh statement issued by the TPC server to update that table causes the filesystem that hosts the TPCDB to fill up quickly, and also consumes lot of RAM. Aside from filling up the database filesystem, the following messages are observed in the traceTPCDeviceServer.log file: yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss.xxx-xxx com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlException: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-968, SQLSTATE=57011, SQLERRMC=null, DRIVER=3.64.82 at com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.bd.a(bd.java:682) at com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.bd.a(bd.java:60) SQLSTATE 57011 indicating Virtual storage or database resource is not available, an after-effect of the refresh statement, and it will be followed by messaging like this: yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss.xxx-xxx Can not perform MQT refresh on table T_RPT_HOST_KEYS because the service is not running! com.ibm.tpc.common.dbaccess.MQTRefresher refreshTable WebContainer : 0 RECREATE STEPS: Observe database filesystems filling up when using Cognos reporting with TPC 5.1. ________________________________________________________________ DB2 Version used for Server: N/A
