We have a STC running on the mainframe. All REXX written. The purpose of one of the rexx scripts is to get allthe availble information from db2 sql the catalog tables about a certain plan and all of it's packages. From time to time (not everytime and not after a certain interval of time) - randome amount of time - on the same prepare statement we getthe following error: SQLCODE - 30080 SQLSTAT - 08001 And the following tokens containing a VTAM error: 0048.0000-08640000 We tried issueing a db2 sql error connect statment after the error, but it fails and requests a static rollback. That doesn't help as well. We've now coded a command that roles the STC in case this error accures (which does help)But in any case, we can't seem to find the reason as to why would this happenin the first place. We're using DB2 V810 for Z/OS. Migrating to 10 in about two months. Best regards, Mona.
