Is there anything i need to do for it to execute in the EJB bean? java stored-procedures db2 ejb-3.0 share|improve this question asked Mar 1 '11 at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5156471/error-executing-ibm-db2-stored-proceedure-in-ejb-container 15:21 n002213f 3,87294983 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote accepted Try to set transaction attribute to NotSupported for method that calls stored procedure. This way you will make sure that your method is executed without active transaction context (active one will be suspended) thus your stored procedure (which presumably does commit/rollback logic) will be successfully executed. For more info take a look at this article. share|improve this answer answered Mar 1 '11 at 15:34 Oleg Iavorskyi 1,91211019 thanks for the doc link. I tried @TransactionAttribute(TransactionAttributeType.NOT_SUPPORTED) but it still failed. It turns out this is caused by my datasource configuration on JBoss. I'm using an xa-datasource which by defination is a global transaction. I created a local-datasource and the issue is now resovled. –n002213f Mar 2 '11 at 13:44 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service. Commit/Rollback inside DB2 for OS/390 Stored Procedures V6.1 and V7? Unknown User asked Mar 6, 2003 | Replies (2) Hi to all, We are using DB2 for OS/390 Stored Procedures for OS/390 V6.1. We implement both BD2 Established and WLM established address spaces. Can we use COMMIT in COBOL or SQL Stored Procedures? Does the COMMIT depend on Address Space, either BD2 Established or WLM established ? Does DB2 for OS/390 V6.1. or V7 stored procedures support COMMIT? In V6.1, if we use COMMIT in a stored procedure, we get the following error: DSNT408I SQLCODE =3D -751, ERRO
