I've put all the information and after the validate process everything seems to be ok, but then I click on the "Create Database" it fails with the next error: An error occurred while creating your local database Create the local database for the data warehouse. I was having trouble and I downloaded a script to help debug the connection issues. http://bugs.mysql.com/11690 The troubleshooting script just exports the error log messages. I ran the script/code against an older environment, and it works. This account does have rights to log into the server. Anyone know what db2 sql these error codes point to? From the SQL Server documentation for error 18456 http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645917.aspx, State 6 is "An attempt was made to use a Windows login name with SQL Server Authentication." Check the connection code and remove any references to user name or password. That topic db2 sql error lists an unusual situation: "When the server is configured for mixed mode authentication, and an ODBC connection uses the TCP protocol, and the connection does not explicitly specify that the connection should use a trusted connection. To resolve this issue, include TRUSTED_CONNECTION = TRUE in the connection string." This is to prevent the unknown connection from getting any extra information about SQL Server. But SQL Server posts a more detailed error to the SQL Server error log, so that administrators can figure out the problem. So check the SQL Server error log. You probably have either error 18456 http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645917.aspx or 18452 http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645598.aspx.
