SQLCODE=-668, SQLSTATE=57016, DRIVER=3.50.152,... when I googled it, I found http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7578013/db2-sqlcode-668-when-inserting that the previous ALTER TABLE statement attempted to add a column to a table that has an edit procedure that is defined with row attribute sensitivity. No columns can be added to this table. Is there is a way to rectify it? Once I drop and re-create the table I can insert again. Thanks in advance. sql db2 share|improve this question edited Oct 1 '13 at 20:24 Alex Pakka 4,45612247 asked Sep 28 '11 at 3:36 user438159 142448 add a comment| 3 Answers 3 active oldest votes up vote 29 down vote To add to James' answer and save people time looking around, you could execute CALL SYSPROC.ADMIN_CMD('REORG TABLE MY_TABLE_NAME') via any available SQL client (i.e. even over ODBC or JDBC connection) to rectify this problem. However, the connection has to be in autocommit mode and you have to have admin privileges to execute this command. I highly recommend to read the documentation on REORG before calling it. share|improve this answer answered Oct 1 '13 at 20:17 Alex Pakka 4,

doing some research, I found out I need to reorg the table it mentioned in the error message. I tried to just run the reorg command in Aqua Data Studio, but I got error message. After consulted with our DBA, this reorg command is not a sql command. The way to run it in Aqua Data studio is as below. call sysproc.admin_cmd('reorg table TABLE_NAME') Posted by JJ Labels: DB2, reorg, SQL, SQLCODE=-668, SQLSTATE=57016 No comments: Post a Comment Newer Post Older Post Home Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom) Blog Archive ▼ 2016 (9) ► June (1) ▼ April (1) DB2 Table Reorg - DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-668, SQL... ► March (2) ► February (5) ► 2015 (29) ► August (1) ► July (3) ► June (1) ► May (8) ► April (9) ► March (7) Follow by Email Subscribe To Posts Atom Posts Comments Atom Comments Awesome Inc. template.
