My DVD is unusable...I've updated all my hardware drivers and firmwares but the problem is not resolved. It should be located in the appropriate folder in the following path- C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Nero. The name should be something like Neroburningromlog.txt.Open it in Notepad and delete your serial number and then post it here, please.When you made the burn, did you have "verification" turned on?Are you using v9.4.26? However, there are a few things to do first.First, go to the manufacturer's website for your drive and download and install the latest driver. You may have a new PC but who knows when the drive was manufactured and if the Windows drivers will work with it.If that doesn't work, try using

I'm just not sure what I should do with the computer set up I have. But here goes.... For the past couple of months I've been trying to get my machine to burn DVDs, ever since I became seriously infected with malware, I desperately need to back up my hard drive. But now I can't get that to work either! I'm using Nero and some 8x DVD-R and I don't get why it keeps saying "DMA-driver error, CRC error Burn process failed at 8x (11,080 KB/s)" every time I try to write a disk.
