I shut down Windows 2000: "End Program - Connections Tray". No one (include Microsoft in the private newsgroups) had a solution. I thought that I would report for the benefit of others who have the same problem that my motherboard on my IBM 6579 computer failed. Restoring program in the system tray from another program I am trying to write a section of code that will restore a program running in the system tray to the screen from another program. I have tried several API like SendMessage(), and the likes but I found that the problem is that the application does not have a MainWindowHandle when it is in the system tray so all of the function calls that I know will not work. Is there an API call that I can make to restore the program? Thanks. 3. ending a connection between the front and back ends of a split database 4.
