it seemed to go ok. I then tried to demote the 2003 box and it wouldnt work, so following instructions on the web, i did force removal. now on the 2008 server, I can see the users are there, but when i go to "Active Directory Sites and Services" i get the following there are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper avast error "Naming information cannot be locatedbecause: The specified domain eiher does not exist or could not be contacted" Please note thats its a small company and i dont do that much server work.
