The Connection to desktops failed with status (1030) Started by Lou Harley , 23 https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/347286-the-connection-to-desktops-failed-with-status-1030/ January 2014 - 04:23 PM Login to Reply 6 replies to this topic Lou Harley Members #1 Lou Harley 11 posts Posted 23 January 2014 - 04:23 PM I have a XenDesktop 7.1 rollout with 2 StoreFront servers load balanced on a netscaler - url sf.domain.com - when i browse to this i can successfully launch desktops. When coming from the outside I receive the 1030 generic error. My session policy is pointing me to https://sf.domain.com/citrix/mystoreweb properly. I have the appropriate certificate installed/configured. I have ports 1494, 80, 443 & 2598 from my VIP for Access Gateway open to both DDC - what could I be missing here? Thanks! 1316-347286-1794350 Back to top Carl Stalhood CTP Member #2 Carl Stalhood 9,87

The connection to "" failed with status (1030) Started by Josh Gfeller , 18 March 2011 - 07:08 PM Login to Reply Page 1 of 2 1 2 28 replies to this topic Josh Gfeller Members #1 Josh Gfeller 80 posts Posted 18 March 2011 - 07:08 PM So I have Xendesktop 5.0 working well internally. We recently gave it a real world IP address and opened port 80 and port 1494 to direct to the internal FQDN. (No SSL for testing). I can connect to the web interface and the PNAgent outside our firewall just fine but when I try to establish the ICA connection by clicking on the Virtual desktop it churns and churns and finally produces the error The connection to "desktop" failed with status (1030). Any help would be much appreciated. 1355-284154-1541241 Back to top Reinhard Teischl Members #2 Reinhard Teischl 1,853 posts Posted 18 March 2011 - 07:09 PM Looks like that port 2598 (session reliability) isn't opened on your firewall. 1355-284154-1541242 Back to top Jo
