I am using Parallels Desktop for Mac build 3120 RC1 and Windows XP Pro on a Mac Pro. I am trying to use AT&T Global Network Client v 6.9.0.3006 to connect to my company's network. It starts to connect but stalls when it gets to "Authenticating with VPN Server". After it fails, it displays the message "The logon request could not be sent to the VPN server". I waded through the detailed log and found the following entry: "Error 118 No response from VPN endpoint during authentication. This can occur if IP Protocol 50(IPSec ESP) or UDP protocol 4500 is blocked by a firewall or IPSec passthrough is not enabled on your home router. (error 118)." Another line in the log says: "The connection timed out waiting for the VPN server to respond. This can occur if your computer is behind a firewall that does not permit UDP or IPSec traffic." It doesn't seem likely to be a problem with my router because this same VPN client works fine with an actual PC on my network, as well as Virtual PC running on a different Mac on my network. I also tried turning off the Windows' firewall to no avail. Since this connection works on the other computers on my network, I am wondering if this is related to Parallels. Reguar internet connection is working normally. I spent over an hour on the phone with AT&T support, with no luck. If I change a setting in the AT&T Network Client that tells it to "use SSL Tunneling when and IPSec connection cannot be established", it will connect after the IPSec method fails. However, this only gives me access to the internet, and not my company's network. This leads me to think that the IPSec packets are not getting through. Is there a setting anywhere in Parallels that tells it to let IPSec packets go through? Thanks for any ideas or advice you can offer, Michael Last edited: Jan 18, 2007 mstielau, Jan 18, 2007 #1 serv Parallels Developers Messages: 757 Michael, How's your VM networking configured, Shared or Bridged? serv, Jan 22, 2007 #2 mstielau Messages: 3 In the Network Adaptor menu, I believe I had "Default Adapter" selected, which I assume is Bridged mode? Just joining a PC to a domain shouldn't have this effect. Having said that, have you tried uninstalling the VPN software or deleting the VPN connection and then setting it up again? Also, when you joined it to the domain, did it change physical location on the network so
