Windows 7: Microsoft Office 2013, Error 1317 Setup cannot create the folder 28 Mar 2014 #1 siber1a Windows 7 3 posts Microsoft Office 2013, Error 1317 Setup cannot create the folder I'm trying to install Microsoft Office 2013 Professional on my laptop from a USB with the OFFICIAL ISO on it, not a torrent. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_install-mso_other/error-1317setup-cannot-create-the-folder-during/9063e10c-22e1-4e7c-ab14-6e45a2b514e6 I am getting an error which reads "Error 1318. Setup cannot create the folder C:\ProgramData\Microsft\OFFICE\UICaptions. Verify that the path exists in your system and that you have sufficient permissions to update it." I am the only account on this laptop, being an administrator, I have tried running this as an admin, changing the permissions of the OFFICE file in ProgramData to "Full control" and it replied with "Access is denied." while trying to apply security information. When http://www.sevenforums.com/microsoft-office/326781-microsoft-office-2013-error-1317-setup-cannot-create-folder.html I try double-clicking the OFFICE file in the hidden ProgramData folder, it says that the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. Any ideas on how I can get around this issue, any help would be much appreciated, thank you for reading.
