Enigma Submitted: 7 years ago. Category:Mac Share this conversation Expert: Bob Cook replied7 years ago. It looks like it is tied to the registration of Adobe After Effects. Remove Magic Bullet Looks from the directory error 150 30 at -> Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS4/MediaCore and that should make AE CS4 start up again. If it doesn't solve it; A crash on launch while MediaCore is initializing is a likely sign of a misbehaved codec. Go to Library > Quicktime and try removing third party codecs. Move one to the desktop, restart your computer, launch the app. Keep doing it until you find the culprit. If it doesn't work for you, let me know. Of course, if the offending codec is identified, you can place the other codecs back in the Quicktime folder.
