LinkBack Thread Tools Display Modes 09-12-2007, 19:49 #1 (permalink) DARIFBS No Life Poster Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Morocco/FBS Posts: 738 Member: 537213 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1577391 Thanks Meter: 361 MDA compact error 150:rom upgrade utility error I try to change languge to french for the magicien mda compact t-mobile; but upgrade utilty say thise error: error 150:rom upgrade utility error this rom upgrade utility does not design http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f98/mda-compact-error-150-rom-upgrade-utility-error-442430/ for your device please get proper rom upgrade utility and try again i follow-up all thise instruction 1-Right click on the EXE file and extract to a folder (using WinZip, ?WinRAR or otherwise) 2-You should end up with about 6 - 8 individual files in the folder; ms.nb1, radio.nb1, nk.nb1 ruu.conf, ruu.dll, enterbl, getdevicedata and maupgradeut. 3-Download MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and place this file in the same folder as the files above. 4-In ActiveSync, click on file and connection settings and untick the USB connection. 5-Put your Magician into bootloader mode by holding the power and camera buttons, and holding the soft reset button with the stylus. 6-The screen backlight will be off, and 'Serial' should be displayed on the screen. Connect the phone to the USB and confirm that it says 'USB' now. 7-Now run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe. The upgrade wizard wil start, go through a few checks then eventually come up with the Country ID error. 8-Run the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe file again and this time it should allow you to run the wizard. 9-The process should then go through 3 stages which should last about 10 - 15 minutes. 10-When finished you should get the upgrade successful notification and a prompt to reset the device 11-In ActiveSync, click on file and connection settings and tick the USB connection. but same problem, any help Bookmarks Digg del.icio.us Google « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Thread Tools Show Printable Version Display

I'm trying to install WM6, helmi's, and it gives me this error when trying to install. I have it in bootloader mode, its bootloader v1.04. I tried it on a vista pc and an xp pc with the same result. I've upgraded to WM6 in the past without a problem, right now I have verizons latest rom/radio installed- wm5. Fixed. It's because i have verizon's new bootloader (v1.04). I've never had a problem upgrading anything, but the instant I backed up all my downloads for my phone onto external, I'm now getting the 150 error and have none of the RUU/MTTY/other stuff. Idon't want to download the same old one. Where did you get yours that worked? Just from the kitchen you used?
