When I booted my pc (win xp pro sp 3), MySQL server is not starting up error 193 0xc1 at all and I can't figure out why. I changed the ini-file back as it was, but no. If I'd re-install the whole thing, do they existing dbs remain just fine (I think so) and after the install they're good to go? Any clues what could be causing it and what you think about the re-install? But I'm having a problem with cerberus as a service. The service does not start automatically on startup and when attempting to start it manually I receive and error:"Could not start the Cerberus FTP Server service on Local Computer.Error 193:0xc1"The service won't start but running cerberus as an application seems to work just fine. I found another post on this forum from 2006 where a user had the same problem but had received no replies with assistance to his issue. I won't be able to advice my company to purchase cerberus until I can get it to run as a service = (I'm running cerberus on a windows 2003 server machine.
