Also see http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/can-not-connect-to-server.html The sequence of messages output from your script suggests that it might be connecting successfully to retrieve the table structure, etc., and only fails when retrieving rows from the SELECT query. Just stick to "MySQL (TCP/IP)" connection, use "localhost" and "3306" as the right port. And, ensure the server is really running. 3 posts gladiator6 posted 5 years ago Thank You. I also alredy install XAMPP and mysql service running try to connect using php and apache return Connected successfully. But I still can't log in to Heidi SQL using 127.0.0.1 or localhost.
