posting this here so that it might save someone else time. This error occurred when I tried to do an HTTPService call to the Back-End and send some really

heavy file. The file would require Back-End parsing and when that was over it would return a result. However mid-way the POST call would be interupted and I was presented with a #2032 Stream Error fault. The solution was both simple and extremely hidden and in my opinion stupid. In the HTTPService I had set the property: this.requestTimeout = how to fix error 2032 3800; However as shown in this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8820715/flex-httpservice-times-out-anyway This property is NOT taken into consideration by the HTTPService. It needs: import flash.net.URLRequestDefaults; URLRequestDefaults.idleTimeout = 1200000; // or any amount of time in ms This way we override the default timeout of EVERY call and thus the request no longer fails… I truly hope this helps someone as the above post helped me. I'm having the same problem, but it looks like flash.net.URLRequestDefaults is for AIR projects only. In fact, the flash.net package I have in a .swc does not even have the URLRequestDefaults class. I'm wondering if there's a non-AIR workaround. Michael Dobekidis says: July 31, 2014 at 19:22 No this was an Air project. This error is quite common and can occur for a numb
error 'Error #2032: Stream Error' Hi All, I am unable to open my flex web application in iTest. When I click 'Start' on new session, internal browser window opens. My web application loading starts and after error #2032 flash player some time error 'Error #2032: Stream Error. URL:/framework_4.0.0.5902.swz' comes. I have added iTestAutomationEnv.xml and flash error 2032 iTestFlexWrapper.swf files into my web app server. 'Error #2032: Stream Error' comes because an swf try to access a file across a restricted domain. For that I added crossdomain.xml file in my web server. But it also didn't help. Also file 'framework_4.0.0.5902.swz' in error doesn't exist on web server. Flex version on which your application has developed. Have you enabled flex option under session properties of Web session. https://forums.spirent.com/questions/21964/unable-to-load-flex-application-getting-error-erro.html Make sure that you are specifying the correct URL i.e. URL with / slashes. Regards, Venkat chetanmw sandeepreddynv ♦ · Feb 13, 2014 at 09:41 AM 0 Share Hi Venkat, iTest version is: 4.1.3 Flex version : 4.5 Yes, I have enabled Flex option in Web session Yes, URL is specified correctly. I'm able to see my app for some time and then 'Error #2032: Stream Error. URL:/framework_4.0.0.5902.swz' error comes. Also I have tried another approach of building application with iTest's swc file. That also didn't work. -Chetan 2 Replies · Add your reply Sort: Best Answer Answer by lakshminarayana · Feb 18, 2014 at 09:56 PM Flex version 4.5 is supported from iTest v4.2. Please upgrade the iTest to the latest version i.e., iTest v4.3.1 and give a try. Causes: This error appears to occur when the url or file is blocked or not found by HTTPService call. For me, this error appeared when I had typed in the incorrect url in the HTTPService url property. Specifying the correct URL fixed it. To check this you can check your URL for typos or try to access the URL outside of your app to make sure it is there. Use Service Capture, Charles or Firebug to inspect the response from the server. If the file is not found the server still sends a response back (html or xhtml (xml)). Note: Additional tips and use cases are mentioned in the comments. This error is also caused by a swf trying
