server. Some times application is loading and working fine but sometimes am getting 2032: Stream error while loading it. Temporary solution i did as i copied framework_4.1.0.16067.SWZ file from the sdk and copied inthe war file explicitly. after doing this ,application loading as usaul and no errors will display. Am looking for permanent solution for this issue. actionscript-3 flex flex4 flexbuilder share|improve this question edited Sep 25 '13 at 10:24 asked Sep 25 '13 at 10:18 Ravi K error #2032 flash player Chowdary 1,33742959 The .SWZ files are runtime shared libraries (RSL's) that are downloaded from Adobe (or now from Apache, I guess). It could be a problem on the other end, and the problem might just go away. One solution is not to use RSL's at all. This will make the size of your application SWF bigger, however. In Flash Builder you can change this in the project properties. Your current solution might be preferable, but it depends on where the RSL's come from (Adobe or Apache Flex). Prior to Apache FLex, the signed RSL's from Adobe could be cached by Flash player. –Sunil D. Sep 25 '13 at 11:44 @SunilD The swz files are digitally signed versions of the SDK that the Flash Player can cache across domains. Adobe is not willing to digitally sign SWFs they didn't create; and as such the Apache Flex cannot provide SWZ files that will be cached across domains; and as such RSLs won't be downloaded from Apache. [Although I have the gist right; I may have details wrong] –JeffryHouser Sep 25 '13 at 11:47 1 @Reboog711 since he is using Flex 4.1 (based on RSL filename), would that imply he would get the signed RSL from Adobe? –Sunil D. So it makes long running requests. While waiting a response for this request, other requests can be made concurrently. The application works in most cases. But sometimes http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1491902/flex-http-request-error-2032 some clients get HTTP request error executing long running request: faultCode:Server.Error.Request faultString:'HTTP request error' faultDetail:'Error: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032"]. As soon as I sent smaller ones it worked (without refresh, reload or anything). I do not know if there is a limit on client side or on web server side of the length of parameters you can send but definitely this causes the issue. url limitations may cause it share|improve this answer edited Nov 26 '12 at 8:44 S.L. Re: Error #2032 DilipShah Dec 14, 2009 11:04 AM (in response to Peter deHaan) Hi Peter,Thanks for your reply! To provide some more info on the error:The error occurs even in Tomcat environment on local machine. The application works fine if you execute it directly v/s from a web server. So, the following would work just fine:file:///C:/projects/OpenClassroom-Flex/ui/trunk/bin-debug/main.htmlAnd the following would not:http://127.0.0.1:8080/OpenClassroom/main.htmlI have experienced that keeping up with nightly build comes with itsown challenges and so haven't dared change since build 12222.For example, with one of the earlier nightly build, I had to upgrade my VideoPlayer and since it has changed so much, my application's video player is still broken! I have posted for help on this forum but with no reply. It looks like, I may not have any options here. I'll update this discussion with my finding after the upgrade to the latest nightly build.Dilip Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 3. Causes: This error appears to occur when the url or file is blocked or not found by HTTPService call. For me, this error appeared when I had typed in the incorrect url in the HTTPService url property. Specifying the correct URL fixed it. To check this you can check your URL for typos or try to access the URL outside of your app to make sure it is there. Use Service Capture, Charles or Firebug to inspect the response from the server. If the file is not found the server still sends a response back (html or xhtml (xml)). Note: Additional tips and use cases are mentioned in the comments. This error is also caused by a swf trying to access a file across a restricted domain. It's not going to get the file if it is not allowed to access it. This behavior then generates the error. The fix in is to add a cross-domain policy file to the domain where the page is located at. The cross-domain file must specify that your domain (or any other domains) can ac
