It's really hard to tell from this trace; are you using the Rails 2 release candidate (1.99.0) or Rails 1.2.x? Does the example from iteration 3 at http://www.flexiblerails.com/code-samples (the
Flash Error 2032
first link, i.e. http://www.flexiblerails.com/files/code.zip) work for you? (First download and unzip the code, then run newdb.bat in the iteration03 folder (or convert it to the equivalent shell script if you're on OS X), then do a clean build.) Some people have had issues where the earlier prerelease of Rails 2 (1.2.3.7707) have been not used, since they had a higher version (e.g. 1.2.5) installed. Since the release candidate is 1.99.0 this shouldn't happen anymore... “„ NBean (6) Offline Dec 21, 2007 @ 10:07 PM #3 Re: RPC Fault faultString="HTTP request error"... I'm having a similar issue on page 187 with updating the datagrid. using Rails 1.99.0, getting the following flex error: [RPC Fault faultString="HTTP request error" faultCode="Server.Error.Request" faultDetail="Error: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032: Stream Error. So it makes long running requests. While waiting a response for this request, other requests can be made concurrently. The application works in most cases. But sometimes some clients get HTTP request error executing long running request: faultCode:Server.Error.Request faultString:'HTTP request error' faultDetail:'Error: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032"]. URL: http://example.com/ws' http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1491902/flex-http-request-error-2032 I think it depends on user's browser. Any ideas? flex actionscript-3 http comet share|improve this question edited Nov 28 '11 at 19:58 lesmana 12.9k64470 asked Sep 29 '09 at 11:08 alexey 4,32584480 add a comment| 7 Answers 7 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted I experienced the same problem when I sent longer (3-4K!) parameter in HttpRequest. As soon as I sent smaller ones it worked (without refresh, reload or anything). I do not know if there is a limit on client side or on web server side of the length of parameters you can send but definitely this causes the issue. url limitations may cause it share|improve this answer edited Nov 26 '12 at 8:44 S.L. This post appears similar to your situation. This post might help you find more debugging information which would be helpful. Which clients are affected? Can you capture the http status code or the traffic being sent using Charles, Wireshark, or similar? share|improve this answer answered Sep 29 '09 at 14:41 Brandon 3,37492845 add a comment| up vote 1 down vote Try listening for the HTTP-st

It seems this error raises when Flex tries to access two files at the same time through a HttpService. Looks like a SandBox restriction. More information on error #2032 (ioError) and other occurences can be found in a post by Judah here (seems to give a lot of 404 pages). Like this:Like Loading...
