what is causing this. The Library GUI uses the local IP address 127.0.0.1 to access Poser, and some firewalls block this local port when they block internet access, even though they shouldn't. Allowing Poser access to the Internet in your firewall setup should fix it... kentphoto Posts: 23 January 2013 edited December 1969 I deleted the free AVG on my computer and still have the problem in Poser Pro 2012 inventory box: FAULT Detected! I'd lost my Poser 9 disk so a reinstall (the recommended approach) wasn't an option. I was planning http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewthread/15849/ a Poser Pro upgrade, but after installing Poser Pro 2014 I still had this error. Smith Micro Support were very helpful. They replied within an hour and explained that this error message was caused by either: An as yet uninstalled Windows 7 update An as http://www.alexstanhope.com/blog/technology/226/when-windows-updates-fix-poser-problems yet uninstalled Internet explorer update, which I think is a subset of the above An as yet uninstalled Flash update I checked my Flash version, which was bang up-to-date. I ran a Windows update, which showed only 'optional' installs, but the list did include Silverlight. After installing those optional updates, Poser Pro worked perfectly. Of all the things to fix a problem like this, a problem that was caused by a bad update, it wouldn't have occurred to me that an optional Windows update would be the solution. So it makes long running requests. While waiting a response for this request, other requests can be made concurrently. The application works in most cases. But sometimes some clients get HTTP request error executing long running request: faultCode:Server.Error.Request faultString:'HTTP request error' faultDetail:'Error: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" error #2032 stream bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032"]. URL: http://example.com/ws' I think it depends on user's browser. Any ideas? flex actionscript-3 http comet share|improve this question edited Nov 28 '11 at 19:58 lesmana 13k64470 asked Sep 29 '09 at 11:08 alexey 4,33084480 add a comment| 7 Answers 7 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted I experienced the same problem when I sent longer (3-4K!) parameter in HttpRequest. As soon as I sent smaller ones it worked (without refresh, reload or anything). I do not know if there is a limit on client side or on web server side of the length of parameters you can send but definitely this causes the issue. url limitations may cause it share|improve this answer edited Nov 26 '12 at 8:44 S.L. This post appears similar to your situation. This post might help you find more debugging information which would be helpful. Which clients are affected? Can you capture the http status code or the traffic being sent using Charles, Wireshark, or similar? share|improve this answer answered Sep 29 '09 at 14:41 Brandon 3,374
