This is after I copied the master.mdf, mastlog.ldf, msdbdata.mdf, msdblog.ldf files from the production database. create an account for MSSQL. The Install works fine, no error in http://www.verycomputer.com/156_e577c479b73f1047_1.htm the log. I try to start the SQLSERVER service log on as local system --> it crashes with an error 'internal NT error 2140'. Second, I'll try to start http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26680 the service with an special account (sql_service with password) --> same error message. Make sure that the account that starts the service is correct (userid and password). Check permissions. Try starting the service with the local system account.
