Runtime Error 2147467259
is the file that opens the access database to read from. I have tried all sorts of things to fix this and I need your help. I searched for this error but can't find any more than people having the problem. We have tried: -Reinstall MDAC 2.8 SP1 -Reinstall Jet Database SP 8 -Reload IIS -Check all files permissions on the folders and file, iisuser has correct permission -Restart IIS Here is the section of my funcs.asp that is has the error: Function PlaceBanner( location ) If CInt(location) > 0 Then Line 100 --> Set dc = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection") dc.ConnectionTimeout = Session("dc_ConnectionTimeout") dc.CommandTimeout = Session("dc_CommandTimeout") dc.Open Session("dc_ConnectionString"), Session("dc_RuntimeUserName"), Session("dc_RuntimePassword") I am at a dead end. Since then, IIS will not work properly. All ASP & ASP.NET pages return the following error:-2147467259 (0x80004005)Also, every so often, upon opening IIS admin, I get a "COM Surrogate Error". I have checked for further updates, have reinstalled ASP.NET using aspnet_iisreg.exe, have tried to replace asp.dll with the previous version but still I get the same error.Any ideas?
