AM by dominiqued97063621 Error 2753.The File is not marked for installation morrisprintinggroup Jul 20, 2012 11:12 AM This is an oldie but a goodie. We have the following error occur on machines when we try to upgrade machines to the newest flash player:Product: Adobe Flash Player 11 Plugin -- Error 2753.The File 'InstallPlugin.exe' is not marked error 2753 the file acrosup64.dll is not marked for installation for installation. The only way we have been able to correct this is outlined here:http://www.eversity.nl/blog/2012/05/adobe-flash-player-install-error-2753-the-file-install ax64-exe-is-not-marked-for-installation/Our IS department wrote a .Net app that automates this process a bit, but it would be nice if the Adobe installer would detect and correct this error, as we push out Flash updates via GPO.Any takers on this?? 19, 2015 13:59 None Hello, New to PDQ-Deploy and am https://support.adminarsenal.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/211676847-Shockwave-Error-1603 working on my first few deployments. Adobe Flash went https://patchmypc.net/forum/index.php?topic=573.0 well, but Adobe Shockwave failed with Error 1603. Please provide me information as to tracking down the issue. I'm trying to deploy to Win 7 about 16 workstations. All imaged the same. Manual installation to error 2753 one of the machines went as expected. So I tried to install using PDQ deploy. I have tried....Uninstalled all Adobe products. Rebooted machine. Used package from library, failed 1603. Installing other products (Adobe or Not) seems to work fine. I'm at a loss on not marked for how to continue. Thanks Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google+ Date Votes 2 comments 0 Bryan McGuire July 19, 2015 14:08 Follow up - Windows Error from the target machine. Error 2753. The File 'swhelper_1210150.exe' is not marked for installation. Permalink 0 Bryan McGuire July 19, 2015 14:23 After further investigation of the Error 2753..... I found left over entries for old installations in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products. Deleted those entries and installation with PDQ deploy is working fine. Now I just need to find a script to remove those entries on about 500 workstations. I'm not real good at scripts. If anyone has a suggestion or script please feel free to send it my way. Otherwise this thread is completed and left for others. Permalink Please sign in to leave a comment. Powered by Zendesk
