Do you have installed the newest version from microsoft installer? Or you can follow the setup from here, which will work http://www.apachelounge.com/viewtopic.php?t=570 Back to top meathookJoined: 15 Dec 2006Posts: 5 Posted: Sat 16 Dec '06 16:44 Post subject: Hi, It doesn't work. You mean the ? And installing the apache (not msi) will not let me remove current apache (msi) (even after doing the "httpd -k uninstall"). I don't have the current apache (msi), it's just hasn't uninstalled completely, so I cannot reinstall the msi. The error comes after I do "repair" or "remove" with the msi. Thank yo

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Apache HTTP Server 2.0.53.msi' in the box below." It is also the same message for 2.2.4 except for the text 'Apache HTTP Server 2.0.53.msi', it now says: "apache_2.2.4-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi". I've tried getting the source for the https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/76275-solved-apache-uninstall-problems/ 2.2.4, but it has a "Internal Error 2753, httpd.exe", and can't find the source for the 2.0.53. I got pissed off with this so I removed both of their folders (everything removed) and this still comes up. Also like to add that I've tried removing in safe mode and it says that it can't remove it because it might not be working right. Anyone got any ideas? Back to top #2 DarkDarkDark DarkDarkDark Newbie New Members 2 posts Posted 06 November 2007 - 11:06 PM I got it removed by a program called: "Windows Install Clean Up", thanks anyways. I deleted the apache folder. I've tried deleting every registry key that has apache in it and I've removed the uninstaller entry from the add/remove programs. I've tried registry cleaners and I still can not uninstall apache or get it to do a repair or reinstall. When I click on the installer, it gives me an internal error 2753 httpd.exe message. I am running XP.
