When I try to buy/install an app from the App Store, I get small red text under my Apple ID that says "An unknown error has occurred". Clicking the "Store" menu, it looks like I'm signed in. (It gives me "Sign Out" and "View my account" with my apple ID showing afterwards as menu options) When I first launch iTunes, I get "An unknown error occurred (-50)." If I try to sign in from iTunes, I get "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (5002). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later." I get the same error if I try to authenticate in any way with my Apple ID. (Authorize this computer for example) Thoughts? Are there any diagnostic tools I can run to give you a more comprehensive error log? Thanks in advance... My research so far indicated that it could be due to some check that Apple does based on the ethernet/MAC address to validate if it's an actual Apple device or not.. Any ideas?
