Trya again later'. Running a connection test from the outlook client shows no errors. After some trawling on the web i have checked https://servername/EWS/exchange.asmx and get a service unavailabel 503 error. TECHNOLOGY IN THIS DISCUSSION Apple Address Book IIS Join the Community! Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now User has requested a shared calendar to which I have created a room mailbox and shared the calendar out with a All Users security group. When trying to open this shared calendar the room mailbox/user is not showing up in the Global Address Book (other room mailboxes are) and I the service is have checked that this mailbox is not hidden from address lists in Exchange. In the past, I have (or asked the users) to manually Download Address Book (File > Account Settings) but the Send & Receive dialog box that pops up just hangs until I select Cancel All. Getting a copy of the latest address list seems to have fixed this issue of a room mailbox/user not showing up in the past. I have read some other articles about this issue including - http://blog.shiraj.com/2013/10/864/ who mentioned checking the permissions of certain IIS files. I suspect there is an issue with my IIS in some way, in that if I run a ''Test E-Mail Autoconfiguration'' check from Outlook and get the OAB URL which is something like https://webmail.mycompany.co.uk/OAB/7cf12789-0f60-4c83-9f24- c42637ca00e8/. and try to browse to view the contents of the OAB.xml file here - https://webmail.mycompany.co.uk/OAB/7cf12789-0f60-4c83-9f24-c42637ca00e8/OAB.xml I recieve a HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable message. This might be a clue as to why the Download Address Book is not working perhaps? I believe that IIS is started correctly, but can any one assist with these issues?
