I'm https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/intervals using a line chart, created with the Google API for draw charts (this chart). It's working well, but now I have a problem. I have to insert some error bars or something similar (for example, the variance). Is it possible to it with the google API? How can I do it? My target is to have something like this. google-api google-visualization linechart share|improve this question edited May 16 '12 at 9:46 asked http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10581115/google-line-chart-can-i-insert-error-bars May 14 '12 at 9:59 Piero Alberto 1,13421343 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted Yes that's possible, the line chart supports column roles, the one you're looking for is inverval share|improve this answer answered Oct 11 '12 at 12:38 Riesling 1,38441627 can I do the same thing if I use the method "data.setValue( i, 0, new Date(dates[i]) ); "? Other chart types I use (tables, sankey diagrams, pie & donut charts) work perfectly, but creating a bar or column chart shows the error "Calculated column must have a "type" property" even though both columns specified do have types (one 'string' and one 'number') changing the line google.charts.load("current", { packages: ["corechart"] }); to google.charts.load("43", { packages: ["corechart"] }); fixes the issue. Is there a fix on the way or do I need to change something in the code so that I can continue to use the latest version of the google charts api? Thanks 👍 1 avastamin commented Feb 29, 2016 Thank you so much. It solved my problem. friendge commented Feb 29, 2016 Me as well.. My issue seemed to be Safari-related and affected area charts as well. trsnarayanan commented Mar 1, 2016 For gantt chart, this resolution is not working.. Let me know, is there any workaround? Zyzle commented Mar 1, 2016 @wpcsoftcharles, I was recieving this error too after upgrading to frozen version 44. Was your chart using a DataView as it's data source? I found that after upgrading the only way I could get rid of this error was to use myDataView.toDataTable() as the source for my chart. wpcsoftcharles commented Mar 1, 2016 @Zyzle, yes I was. Thanks for the info, I'll try this asap :) wpcsoftcharles commented Mar 1, 2016 @Zyzle This works perfectly! It didn't even get rid of the functionality of my view (labels etc.) as I worried it might. I guess the "calculated column" was the label part of the view object. Thanks a lot for this 👍 wpcsoftcharles closed this Mar 1, 2016 Zyzle commented Mar 1, 2016 @wpcsoftcharles I would perhaps re-open this as I believe it is a valid regression issue in the latest version, although someone from the google team will be able to confirm. Previously there were no problems using views in this way, my own charts did this, the issue with the calcu
