changes the value of that data point for the entire series. This is not the correct way to assign error values to how to add standard deviation bars in numbers for mac data. Each data point should get its own value but there is no choice but to select the whole series. Ive read the user manual, it doesn't appear to help. This is a pretty serious oversight custom error bars keynote as it basically renders numbers useless for statistical data. Easier yet is to put the cursor in the error field and then use the mouse pointer to select the range in your table. You should be looking into statistics software such as SPSS. Your school may have cheap licenses for you (mine did at least). Are you classes using Numbers or stats software? My class uses Excel. Almost everyone else has Vista too. I have numbers 09 on OS X Leopard. I can do most of the other functions without a problem, but it's just these two.
