error bars. I have a bunch of graphs in which the X error bars all show up fine, but now I added a new series to my dataset http://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/XY-ErrBar-Graph which I want to plot. If I create a new scatter plot, I can plot the X error bars perfectly well. But for some reason, when I try to add the new series to the plot via Plot Setup, the xEr column (containing the x error) does not show up! Whereas the yEr columns DO show up!So http://originlab.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9982 how do I add X error bars to my existing plots? Surely I don't have to remake all of them...Thanks heaps! Hideo Fujii USA 1292 Posts Posted-11/29/2011: 3:19:47 PM Hi gvswaaijAAs the X error is less popular for plotting, its column in the middle panel of Plot Setup is hidden as default. You can show it by right-clicking on any header (of X, Y yEr, etc.), and choose the "X Error Bars" flyout.Hope I didn't misunderstand something. --Hideo FujiiOriginLab Topic New Topic Reply to Topic Printer Friendly Jump To: Select Forum Origin Forum Origin Viewer and Orglab Forum Origin Forum Origin Forum for Programming LabTalk Forum Forum for Origin C Forum for Automation Server/COM and LabVIEW Originä¸æ–‡è®ºå› Origin ä¸æ–‡è®ºå› (Chinese Origin Forum) Japanese Origin Forum Origin日本語フォーラム(Japanese Origin Forum) Origin on Linux The Origin on Linux Forum Private Forums Distributor Forum -------------------- Home Active Topics Frequently Asked Questions Member Information Search Page The Origin Forum © 2008 Originlab Corporation Snitz Forums 2000

Somebody can help me sending a home made example!cheersjerome 2895Views Tags: none (add) This content has error bars in been marked as final. You should be able to open the file in your version of Mcad. I can open it in version 2000, your version 2001 should certainly be able to open it.Another problem might be the NaN constant, that your version of Mathcad knows not. If you add a definition above the calculation of the matrix NNaN=oowhere oo is the "infinite" symbol, you should at least get an idea of how it looks.Success,Luc Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions Create a plot with error bars (Y and X axis) ptc-1368288 Aug 6, 2007 12:00 AM (in response to jmit) On 8/6/2007 11:20:21 AM, mitard wrote:>with the files, it is better>:-)))>>jerome__________________When you post a work sheet, please post a stand alone work sheet, i.e: data in input table.
